Getting to know Ryan Roberts
Welcome! I'm Ryan. Are you feeling the waves of life? Some waves are gentle and predictable, while others seem to come out of nowhere and knock us completely off balance. Fears may arise about your future, or past trauma might bubble to the surface of your awareness. Anxiety and depression can be normal responses to changes in your insight, losses, and transitions. Relationships can become challenging to navigate when we are experiencing such waves. I will meet you where you're at to help you achieve a feeling of wellness.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the State University of New York, Oswego. I specialize in counseling children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing depression, anxiety, parenting issues, peripartum depression/anxiety, and grief and loss. My personal life experiences help me empathize with others who are suffering from mental health issues, and I'd love the opportunity to help you heal!
What should a new client know about working with you?
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is an essential part of the healing process. To foster the therapeutic relationship I incorporate trust, respect, and authenticity into my work. I provide an open, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment where my clients can feel at ease. My goal for my clients is two-fold. In the short term, I'd like to help clients get some relief and to ease some of the symptoms they may be experiencing. In the longer term, I hope to get to the roots of the feelings, concerns and dilemmas that cause such symptoms.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
