Getting to know Sabra Maurice

I have been a licensed counselor for over 25 years. I have seen the best results started with a good assessment, history, parents concerns, understanding of the issues, connection with the client and a plan to heal to the fullest ability using a combination of skills, tools, and techniques to incorporate a whole person type of healing of the the mind, body, emotions, and spirit. I help people understand connections from things that may of affected them from the past and how to address that and be healthier and happier in the present. I help clients have tools to use on their own and to get and stay well and stable as life comes. They can always come back for more support as things change. I have learned so much about people over the years and enjoy sharing what I have learned to help others. We are all human and go through things and are alike in many ways but individuals in many other ways. I was trained in a Human lifespan developmental model and approach people from that and a very down to earth, human to human realistic way. I'm trained in EMDR for trauma, relaxation techniques, energy shifting, cbt to change thoughts, emotional support, and mind body techniques to shift where stress is stored in the body. I am happy to discuss grief and loss and spirituality also. I work often with trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, behavior changes including hypnotherapy, stress management, couples counseling, and more. I look forward to meeting each person and am fortunate to be a part of their life and blessed to be able to create this special safe place they can grow.
