Sabrina Gonzalez, LCSW

Psychotherapist
PA
Hello, my name is Sabrina Gonzalez, DSW-LCSW, and I have been a clinical social worker and mental health therapist for over 18 years. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I attended the University of Pennsylvania, where I earned both my Master's in Social Work and Doctor of Clinical Social Work degrees by 2015. I then moved to central Florida for about eight years, and as of 2020, I now reside in Cuba, New Mexico, enjoying the West Coast life. I have the honor of working with indigenous tribes in this area and learning new skills with new populations. In the past, I have worked with various populations and life experiences that include teens, adults, and seniors, as well as the child welfare system, juvenile justice system, aging out foster care youth, adoption, domestic violence, sexual abuse trauma, religious trauma, grief and loss, and LGBTQ+ individuals. Diagnoses I have worked with include anxiety, depression, PTSD, gender dysphoria, reactive attachment disorder, and other adjustment disorders. My therapy techniques are open to all forms of spiritual practices, especially earth-based and indigenous traditions. Treatment and interventions include cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment therapy, narrative therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as a few others. Treatment goals are always designed and created by the client or patient, with a focus on healing and integrating new skills into your present life, decreasing stress, increasing resiliency, and developing a supportive network and/or resources near you to utilize when needed.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
