Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to explore support for yourself or your family. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH) who provides a compassionate, grounding, and collaborative space for children (ages 11+), adolescents, adults, families, and couples. My goal is to meet each client exactly where they are while helping them build the insight, skills, and resilience needed to move forward. I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, maternal mental health challenges, relationship stress, emotional dysregulation, and self-harm behaviors. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns shaped by their past. Together, we work to understand those experiences while developing healthier ways of coping, relating, and healing.

Getting to know Sade Gantt

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic approach is warm, direct, and culturally attuned. I incorporate evidence-based practices—including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and family-systems work—to help clients gain clarity, strengthen emotional regulation, and create meaningful change. With children and teens, I combine skill-building with a supportive environment that encourages expression, accountability, and emotional safety. With adults and couples, I focus on communication, rebuilding trust, and addressing unmet emotional needs. I believe healing is possible at any age, and therapy is a powerful step toward emotional wellness and stability. Whether you're navigating a difficult life transition, rebuilding after trauma, working to strengthen family dynamics, or supporting a child through emotional challenges, you don’t have to do it alone.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Your first session is designed to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. I take a collaborative, conversational approach so we can begin building a strong therapeutic relationship from the very start. During our initial session, you can expect: • A welcoming, pressure-free space You’ll have the opportunity to share what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to work on. There is no expectation to tell your full story all at once—we move at your pace. • A thorough assessment I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, background, symptoms, coping skills, and any relevant history so I can understand your needs and determine the best approach for treatment. • Goal-setting and next steps Together, we will begin identifying your priorities and what progress looks like for you. We’ll discuss whether weekly or bi-weekly sessions are most appropriate and outline an initial plan for moving forward. • Space for your questions You are encouraged to ask about the therapeutic process, my approach, or anything else that helps you feel informed and comfortable. By the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and confident about the path ahead. Therapy is a partnership, and our first meeting is the first step toward building that connection.
