Psychotherapist
800 Hart Rd, Suite 100, Barrington, IL
I understand how mental health can make or break future success. If we don't take care of our mental health, how can we possibly achieve our personal goals at our highest potential? When it comes to mental health therapy, there is no cookie-cutter approach for any individual. I build rapport and provide an inviting, calm, and peaceful environment where my clients can feel safe and secure to share their feelings, thoughts, and experiences. One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is watching the transformation as my clients grow using their new skills. I value working with my clients and empowering them to be the best they can be. I am a good listener, relatable, and offer my clients tools to navigate difficulties they've encountered in their lives. I am dedicated to sharing valuable resources and support based on the individual needs of each client. Samantha graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in Social Work. She then earned her Master's Degree in Social Work with a clinical specialization from Aurora University in 2018. She has been employed within school systems, court systems, private practices, and skilled nursing facilities, working with and treating a variety of mental health disorders, disabilities, and social issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, psychiatric, and mood disorders. One of Samantha's specialties is working with teenagers, but she also works with children and adults to improve their academic, social, and emotional well-being. Samantha is committed to providing her clients with a safe and non-judgmental environment.
