You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, mood changes, relationship patterns, or everyday stress that feels difficult to manage. Maybe you have trouble communicating your needs, setting boundaries, or understanding why certain situations affect you so strongly. I provide a warm, honest, and nonjudgmental space to explore these patterns, process past experiences, build healthier coping skills, strengthen communication, and better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and environment. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, self-esteem difficulties, and mood-related concerns. My approach is honest, collaborative, strengths-based, and insight-oriented, with attention to communication, boundaries, coping skills, and the connection between the mind and body. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and you do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. You can come as you are, whether you want to process something difficult, better understand yourself, or simply have space to talk. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, challenged when helpful, and more confident advocating for what you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood-related concerns, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, low self-esteem, grief, and family conflict. Together, we explore patterns, strengthen coping and communication skills, practice healthier boundaries, and build greater awareness of how thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships affect one another.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My typical process begins with getting to know you, understanding what brought you to therapy, and identifying what you would like to feel or handle differently. I take a collaborative approach, so we work together to understand patterns in your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and environment rather than following a one-size-fits-all plan. Depending on your needs, sessions may focus on processing current stressors or past experiences, exploring the roots of certain behaviors, building healthier coping skills, strengthening communication and boundary-setting, or improving self-advocacy. I also help clients notice the connection between emotional and physical well-being and may incorporate mind-body or somatic strategies when appropriate. Some sessions may feel more structured and goal-focused, while others may simply provide space to talk, process, and release emotions. I am supportive and nonjudgmental, but I am also honest and willing to gently challenge patterns when that may be helpful. Throughout therapy, we regularly check in on what is working, what needs to change, and what feels most important to you so that treatment continues to fit your goals and circumstances.
