What should a new client know about working with you?

While I utilize evidence-based practices to support in processing emotions and identifying solutions, my approach is grounded in genuine care, connection, humor, and lived experience. I believe in meeting each individual uniquely where they are while also considering the systems that influence us all. Each session should feel like sanctuary, relief, and moving closer towards the life your highest self envisions. I enjoy integrating somatic and grounding exercises, as well as supporting you with tools of your own to utilize in and out of sessions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Most people enter their first session a little nervous, not knowing what to expect from a provider; my goal is to provide an environment in which you can truly show up as yourself from the beginning and feel seen. From our very first session, my priority is building the therapeutic relationship, just as you'd hope when meeting someone new and creating a lasting relationship. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy (whether it's your first time or you're a vet), your goals, strengths and barriers. From there, we’ll collaboratively plan for our work together, and adjust as you and your life evolves. I look forward to meeting with you!
