Getting to know Samaria Gray

My name is Samaria Gray and I am a New York State Licensed Clinical Therapist with a special focus on youth and adults. I believe that everyone deserves to be seen and heard, especially when it comes to dealing with past traumas. Some of the areas I am experienced in working with are anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, grief, domestic violence, and trauma survivors and use various evidence-based approaches to help my clients heal and move forward in life. What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy is a road trip. We'll go through storms, change of direction. We'll be on the top of the mountain and down to the deepest of valleys. My favorite part of being a therapist is guiding and supporting you in the darkest of times. Still holding you accountable, reminding you of who you are and allowing you to drive. I'll help with the road map.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am invested in your healing and development. We both win when your goals and needs have been met. I want you to leave our sessions knowing and utilizing what has always been in you; to conquer whatever comes your way and I will be your reminder of that.
