Hi there! It is so nice to meet you! As a licensed clinical social worker, I feel that prioritizing our mental health holds just as much importance as our physical health; after all, they are both connected. I understand how difficult it can be to seek support from a professional and at the same time, I appreciate the courage and strength you have in reaching out! Most especially if it's your first time considering therapy, I can imagine how much worry, stress and hesitancy there might already be and I'm hoping I can be a part of helping you feel at ease.

What should a new client know about working with you?

With each individual comes their own story, which allows me to understand how best to support you in your journey. Seeing improvement in our mental health stems from several important factors which can be: honesty, willingness to be open when comfortable and making sure you feel supported, amongst many other things. I will do my absolute best to meet you where you are and provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to express yourself.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My clients often feel weighed down by the symptoms of depression and anxiety, or even the persistent struggles of grief and trauma. Many of them are working through difficult experiences related to abuse, cultural pressures, workplace stress, or strained relationships, and they're searching for ways to create healthier boundaries and let go of what they can't control. What they strive for is to feel better with time, which can look like reducing overwhelming symptoms, reconnecting with interests and people they once enjoyed, exercising again and other activities that reignite their quality of life.
