Getting to know Samiyrah Weaver

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Eco-Therapist in Pennsylvania. My goal is to help decrease symptoms anxiety, depression, grief and acute stress related to daily life/ transitions, relationship issues, betrayal trauma, substantial loss or geopolitical/ economical stress you may be facing. You can expect me to incorporate evidenced-based and holistic modalities to facilitate your healing journey. What should a new client know about working with you?

To ensure we are addressing your unique concerns, evidenced-based and integrative modalities will be used in our sessions to facilitate the healing process. The objective is to build on internal and external resources to manage anxiety, cope with grief after a tremendous loss, navigate major life transitions and constructively diffuse anger to feel more balanced and in control of your life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session will start with an intake/ introduction meeting followed by a Treatment Plan development meeting. In our sessions I will focus on learning more about you and the reasons that bring you to therapy. We will address any immediate concerns with clear direction and action-steps. Underlying concerns will be addressed as they unfold in following sessions. We will make the most of the virtual Platform by creating more of a coffee/tea talk that in structured but also casual in nature.
