What should a new client know about working with you?

I enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds who struggle with depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, anger, emotional disturbances, life transitions, and a lack of coping skills. My focus is on helping my clients become more mindful, self-aware, and mentally strong by providing a safe environment for personal growth and emotional well-being. I tailor my approach to suit each individual and their current circumstances. It's important for you to know that you have control over your therapy, life, and overall growth. I'm here to support, guide, and sometimes challenge your perspective. Dealing with addiction, anxiety, and depression can be very tough, and it requires someone willing to go the extra mile to help save lives. I believe in promoting self-exploration, self-acceptance, and self-actualization to help clients gain insight into their inner world, enhance self-awareness, and find fulfillment. I use evidence-based therapy approaches, such as humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavior, solution-focused brief, strength-based, and motivational interviewing, to customize therapy to meet your needs and enhance resilience and coping skills for positive change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I eagerly anticipate our first meeting, which will allow us to build a meaningful connection and gain a deeper understanding of each other. The intake process consists of up to two sessions, allowing us to explore your therapy needs and gain valuable insight into your life journey. This process sets the stage for a strong therapeutic relationship, and I am excited to embark on this journey with you. My goal is to assist you in managing and reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma while also improving your communication skills and ability to set boundaries. Acknowledging that our upbringing, experiences, relationships, and current life stressors impact our well-being is important. I am committed to working hard to help each person as much as possible, even if that means finding resources or referrals for you.
