Sandra Bondelier, LCSW

Psychotherapist
TN
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 35 years of experience providing therapy and clinical supervision. I work with adults facing anxiety, panic, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, PTSD, and many of life's challenges, including stress, relationship concerns, grief, chronic illness, parenting struggles, fertility and postpartum issues, anger management, chronic pain, and life transitions. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Somatic techniques, and Motivational Interviewing. I believe therapy works best when it's a collaborative process built on trust, honesty, and respect. Together, we'll identify what's getting in the way, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide a supportive, down-to-earth space where you can talk openly without fear of judgment. My style is warm, practical, and collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand your experiences, develop new skills, and move toward the goals that matter most to you. Whether you're dealing with a specific challenge or feeling stuck and unsure where to start, we'll work together at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first few sessions focus on getting to know you, understanding your concerns, and identifying what you would like to change or improve. We'll talk about your experiences, strengths, and goals so we can create a plan that fits your needs. As we work together, we'll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical tools and coping strategies, and track your progress along the way. My goal is to help you feel more confident, better equipped to handle challenges, and more satisfied with your life and relationships.
