I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, and life adjustments, and I also have extensive experience supporting individuals through parenting challenges, women's issues, chronic illness, grief, and other significant life events. What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. My style is relaxed, collaborative, and down-to-earth, and I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable talking openly without fear of judgment. With over 40 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I've worked with people facing many different challenges and understand that every person's story is unique. I'll meet you where you are, help you identify your strengths, and support you in working toward the goals that matter most to you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first few sessions focus on understanding your concerns, your personal history, and what you'd like to accomplish in therapy. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies that fit your life. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing to help you better understand your thoughts and emotions, strengthen healthy coping skills, and make lasting changes at a pace that feels right for you.
