Through role-playing and other methods, I assist your child in practicing alternate ways of handling stressful situations. My focus I am passionate about working with children, teens, and families. I support children and their families in finding ways to connect effectively and deeply through the use of family systems and cognitive behavioral therapy. My communication style I am a very positive, supportive, and enthusiastic therapist. I take the time to get to know the children's interests to keep them engaged in our sessions. My journey to mental healthcare I have always enjoyed working with children and families and have done so for over 13 years. I feel privileged to support the love and growth that is in every child's capacity. My goals for you Goal setting is very important in determining how we will spend the sessions. I like to start with smaller goals that lead to a larger overarching goal, which is key in keeping the child successful and feeling confident in themselves. My first session with you First sessions are a great way for me to get to know the child and family. I share a bit about the process, ask if they have any questions or history with therapy, and set goals for future sessions.
