Getting to know Sandra Clamon

Sandra Clamon, LPC I'm Sandra Clamon, a licensed professional counselor in Colorado, Florida, and Texas, and I take pride in running a veteran-owned business. Before entering the counseling field, I served as a Supply Sergeant in the U.S. Army. As a combat veteran, I find great fulfillment in assisting other veterans. My journey into therapy began after my military career. In 2009, my husband, a combat-injured veteran, and I faced the challenges of PTSD and physical injuries. As dual military parents of four children, we struggled to find a therapist who understood our unique family dynamics. Serving as my husband's caregiver for three years intensified our need for support. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the right therapist for us. This experience inspired me to return to school and become a therapist. I earned my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix, which equipped me with the skills to support individuals, couples, and families through their healing journeys. I'm pleased to share that our marriage was saved, our children grew into responsible adults, and we learned to overcome our own challenges. Now, my passion is to accompany you on your healing journey. In my counseling approach, I blend experience, connection, expertise, support, empathy, acceptance, and responsibility. My overarching goal is to genuinely promote healing and wellness for individuals, marriages, and families.
