I received my intake paperwork and was able to submit it but when I contacted the office the day before and the day of my appointment I was unable to confirm the appointment time with them. I arrived at the office (easy to find, plenty of parking, calm, inviting waiting room) I waited for 15 minutes after checking in on the iPad at reception (there was no one present at the desk) before receiving a text message from the office that notified me my scheduled provider had gone home sick and asking if I had not been contacted. I hadn’t. I waited almost a week to hear from them about rescheduling (I did receive an apology) and was informed that the provider I had booked with for in-person visits did not have any upcoming availability and that they’d put me in touch with another provider in the practice. It has been almost a week and I have not yet heard from them. I don’t doubt they have good providers but this ordeal has only added to the stress I had originally sought out treatment for!
