Sandra Marquez Mesquite has a masters degree in psychology with a specialization in Latino family studies and is a licensed marriage and family therapist and has been in the field of mental health for over 20 years. Sandra has worked in the areas of substance-abuse, domestic violence with both the perpetrators and victims and has provided therapy for children and adolescence and adults and has been a professor of psychology at a local university. Sandra has also completed 5150 assessments for the hospitals and the jails, and for the sheriffs department and has also provided emergency crisis intervention for the last 20 years. Sandra is a trainer and coach for a research project that was conducted by Berkeley and Yale by the name of SFl which stands for the name, supporting father involvement, which took place in Tulare county which was one of the five counties selected in California to conduct the study to see if with intervention, families and communities would improve emotionally financially and educationally during this eight year period Sandra was able to provide therapy for over 300-500 couples and families during this time period and the researchers saw success in the program, and now the intervention is offered throughout the world. Sandra was a co-owner and president of Premier family counseling and is currently a owner of her own therapy, organization and owner and facilitator of Living Free Coaching. In addition to her mental health background, she has been a pastor and ministry leader for over 20 years. Sandra enjoys the opportunity to help, teach and to train others so that they can also reach their full potential.
