Hello! I am Sandra, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Anger Resolution Therapist, and Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider, licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Professional Counselors. With over twenty-four years of counseling and behavioral health experience, I am here to offer help, hope, and healing to those who seek to overcome their challenges in life. I first began providing TeleMental Health services in 2005. Since then, I have dedicated myself to supporting clients through a variety of challenges, including anger management, family relationships, multicultural and diversity issues, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, stress, grief, and intimate relationships. My counseling style is supportive, non-judgmental, and direct, and I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. I graduated with honors from the Master's in Counseling Psychology Program at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas in 2001. My professional journey has led me to provide behavioral health services to victims of domestic violence, college and secondary education students, couples, and individuals court-ordered to parenting and anger-management programs. Additionally, I have over seven years of experience in crisis intervention and have been running my private practice since 2016, offering 100% virtual services since 2020. As an ordained minister, I also bring a unique perspective to Christian counseling, integrating spiritual guidance with therapeutic treatment and support. My goal is to create a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your feelings, develop coping strategies, and work towards a more fulfilling life.
