I have been working as an LCSW in the social work field for over 13 years. Social work has always been a calling for me. I obtained my Master's in Social Work in 2001 from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, including inpatient psychiatric care, hospital ER, adoption, Adult Protective Services, and private practice therapy. My clients describe me as warm, accepting, and nonjudgmental. I have found working with individuals and couples to be a rewarding way to assist clients in talking through their feelings, learning new ways to solve problems, healing old wounds, and gaining insight into oneself.
