Getting to know Sandra Tippen
Hello, I am Sandra Tippen!
I'm a licensed clinical social worker with 15 years of experience providing counseling to clients in need of therapeutic intervention. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Southern University at New Orleans and my Master's in Social Work from Tulane University. I am currently a student in Tulane's Doctorate of Social Work program.
I've worked in many different social work settings throughout my career, including with people involved in the juvenile justice system, adult penal system, and child protective services. I am skilled in working with children who have school-related issues and mental health challenges. Social work to me is a passion and a calling. I sincerely love working with clients to help them reach their goals and persevere through challenges and hardships.
Through our therapeutic relationship, I will provide an empathic stance and support where you will feel comfortable discussing traumatic events and barriers that may have hindered your personal growth.
