What should a new client know about working with you?

I take a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens in therapy, creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, build healthier coping strategies, and work toward meaningful personal growth. I believe exploring and understanding one’s cultural and personal identity is critical to healing and growth, which is why cultural sensitivity is a core value in my work with clients. Whether clients are navigating questions of racial, cultural, or personal identity or are facing the challenges of being in relationships or families with diverse backgrounds, I provide a supportive and affirming space to explore these dynamics.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first few sessions, my focus is on getting to know you—your story, your strengths, and what’s bringing you to therapy. I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can feel safe to explore whatever is on your mind at your own pace. We’ll collaborate to set goals that feel meaningful to you, and I’ll always respect your autonomy in shaping our work together.
