Getting to know Sara Eisenberger

I have spent the past twelve years helping people from all walks of life gain insight and grow from difficult situations in their lives. Utilizing strength-based techniques and positive psychology, I work with patients to unlock their potential as well as their inner strength. My approach incorporates mindfulness, trauma-informed care, resilience building, and coping skills. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Touro University and a Certificate in Trauma Informed Care from the Northern Arizona Trauma Institute, which enhance my ability to provide compassionate, effective support. I have extensive experience working with teens and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma. Life is filled with ups and downs, and my goal is to help my patients recognize the ups and develop skills and tools to navigate the more challenging times. Investing in your mental health and well-being can be one of your greatest investments and also the greatest form of self-care for you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Creating a comfortable setting and dynamic with each patient is my primary goal. The professional, therapeutic relationship that I look to develop is one of trust, empathy, safety and compassion.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During the intake processes, I use both formal and inform diagnostic tools in order to best assess and treat each patient. Self-reports, body language and formal assessment tools all help to tell the story of how a person is currently doing. Therapeutic goals are often discussed in session, I feel it's important that patient's feel that they are on the same page as their therapist.
