“Sara is fantastic. We have only had four sessions so far, but I knew halfway through our first session that she was a perfect fit for me. She is warm, she is kind, she is emotionally intelligent, she is genuine. She is a fantastic listener, and she knows when to ask insightful questions or to add something to our conversation. She also has a sense of humor- she can "read the room" very well and knows the perfect time for a humerous remark.”

What should a new client know about working with you?

"This process is about you. I want to understand who you are and what you want you want to work on during our time together. During the initial session, I will be asking you about your goals for therapy, your life history, your mood and the challenges you are experiencing. I will also ask a few questions about your health and lifestyle. In ongoing sessions, we will discuss your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. We will learn to recognize unhelpful thoughts and how to change them. We will learn to develop a greater sense of confidence in our abilities. We will explore the roots of your problems together. I will offer support and insights. I may offer suggestions, or ask that you complete tasks in between sessions. We will discuss your progress regularly and how you feel about the therapy process. "

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
