Psychotherapist
TX
Hi there, I'm Sara! Welcome! I am so glad you are here! I love partnering with my clients to build a trusting therapeutic relationship to help us walk through life's inevitable difficulties. We don't (and shouldn't!) face those challenges alone. I offer a confidential, judgment-free space to discuss difficult parts of life, such as depression, anxiety, or relationship challenges. I look forward to partnering with you to tackle your unique struggles through honest dialogue, active listening, and goal-setting to meet your personal goals. My approach I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 16 years of experience and hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Abilene Christian University. I primarily use cognitive-behavioral techniques to help clients overcome anxiety, depression, self-worth, and other mental health concerns. I also value a person-centered approach to support clients as they work toward self-acceptance, empathy, and greater self-understanding. My focus I provide remote teletherapy so clients can conveniently access mental health care. Many schedule sessions on their lunch break to fit easily into their day. I work with teens and adults in all life stages. My communication style I strive for a calm, comfortable, and personable therapy environment. I want clients to feel safe sharing difficult aspects of their life and trust they won’t be met with judgment. Instead, I provide empathy and support. My journey to mental healthcare I became a therapist after difficulties in adolescence led me to need a safe space to talk through my feelings. Since then, I have longed to be that safe, helpful space for others. My goals for you I work with clients to set goals. We discuss concerns, evaluate coping strategies, and determine the next best steps to move forward.
