Getting to know Sarah Burey
Hi, I'm Sarah!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with 19 years of experience in the mental health field and three years of providing Telehealth therapy full time. I currently work with female adults and male/female children and adolescents. If my schedule appears full, please reach out, as I may have additional availability.
As a wife and mom, I understand the challenges of balancing personal, family, and professional responsibilities. Taking the first step toward counseling can feel overwhelming, but it is often one of the most meaningful investments you can make in yourself or your child.
Clients describe me as compassionate, approachable, and easy to talk to. I tailor treatment to each client's unique needs using evidence-based approaches. I have experience helping clients navigate anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem, motivation, and life transitions.
I am also a TBRI® Practitioner and Certified Unified Protocol Clinician, with specialized training in trauma-informed care and emotional regulation. As a foster/adoptive parent, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to my work with children and families impacted by trauma, foster care, and adoption.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
