What should a new client know about working with you?

You don’t have to have it all figured out before coming to therapy. Many people start the process feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or even hesitant—and that’s okay. My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative. I’ll meet you where you are, and together we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful of your experiences. In our work, you can expect curiosity over judgment, gentle exploration over pressure, and a focus on building trust and safety. I believe that meaningful change comes not just from insight, but from connection—both with yourself and within the therapeutic relationship. You are the expert on your life. My role is to support you in tuning into your inner voice, identifying patterns, and exploring new ways of relating to yourself and others. Whether you're carrying stress, grief, trauma, or just feeling stuck, we’ll work together to uncover what’s getting in the way and what might help you move forward with more ease and clarity.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work begins with getting to know you—what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to change or understand, and what’s important to you. In the first few sessions, we’ll spend time exploring your story, identifying patterns, and clarifying goals together. I want to understand not just what’s hard, but also what’s helped you survive and what strengths you carry. A typical session is a mix of reflection, gentle challenge, and skill-building. Depending on your needs, we might explore emotions, relationships, past experiences, or the ways stress shows up in your body. Some sessions may feel more practical and grounded; others might feel more exploratory or reflective. I tailor my approach to fit who you are and what you need in the moment. My goal is to create a steady and supportive space where you feel safe to be real—whether that means working through something deep or just showing up exactly as you are that day. Therapy is a process, and I’ll walk alongside you as we navigate it together.
