Starting counseling can feel like a big step—kind of like finally deciding to stop ignoring the check engine light. It takes courage, and I’m glad you’re here. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I help people make practical, healthier choices that move them closer to the life they want. I take a holistic approach, recognizing how stress, lifestyle, and even physical health can affect mental well-being. For those who are interested, I can also weave in Christian-based coping skills alongside proven techniques. Whether it’s burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma, or major life transitions, my goal is to encourage and equip you with tools that help you set goals, build resilience, and move forward with confidence. My approach Think of therapy as a toolkit—with a little creativity, a little science, and maybe even a splash of fun. We’ll use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to spot those tricky thought patterns and turn them into something a little more helpful. Sometimes I bring out the big guns with trauma-focused approaches like Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) or Flash Technique. They might sound unusual, but they’re backed by lots of research—and I’ve seen some pretty amazing “miracles” happen, often in just one session! When the situation warrants, we’ll also incorporate art, music, and play therapy, because healing doesn’t have to be all serious faces and tissues. And if your faith is important, we can weave in Christian coping skills to help strengthen your spiritual side. Together, we’ll find what works for you, tackle challenges, and help you move forward with confidence… maybe even with a smile.
