Getting to know Sarah Downes

I DO NOT DO ANY MEDICATION MANAGEMENT. I'm so glad you are here and really look forward to working with you. My role is to meet you where you are in all aspects of life and help you grow to where you want to be. I have had amazing opportunities to work with individuals, couples, and families from all walks and stages of life. I've worked with family and couple issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, criminal justice involvement, and everything in between. I am very LGBTQIA friendly and accept that everyone's journey is different, finding value in the diversity we all offer. One of my specialties is connecting your physical health with your mental health. Research has proven this direct connection for years now, but most doctors and professionals just don't know about it, so they can't help you achieve whole health. I have a certification in Integrative Mental Health, ADHD (Child and Adult), and am trained in Neurofeedback. I earned my MEd in Community Counseling from Kent State University and my bachelor's degree from West Virginia University. I can help you find true wellness, and I look forward to talking with you!
