“Sarah is wonderful. Her ability to turn my ramblings into meaningful topics for discussion and growth is remarkable. I feel at ease around her, allowing me to share anything without hesitation. Saying she has improved my life would be an understatement. I was reluctant about therapy, but now I genuinely look forward to our weekly sessions. Dedicated to empowering clients in managing life’s daily stressors, Sarah’s goal is to foster a compassionate and trusting environment where individuals can safely explore their challenges and uncover their innate strengths. Her therapeutic approaches include, but are not limited to, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and are strengths-based and trauma-focused.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Opening up to another person can be uncomfortable to say the least. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental space for you to share at your own pace. I understand that trust is not something that comes easy to all and I am happy to be present as we work together to build that trust within the therapeutic relationship. While I do believe that meeting you where you're at is important, I believe it is equally as important to provide encouragement to get you to where you want to be.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Typical sessions are structured according to what you as the client bring to the session. If there is something on your mind, let's talk about it. If not, we can work towards our predetermined goals.

Sarah is awesome! She has such a fun and down to earth approach to therapy while being really helpful and supportive. Sarah seems to really care and is incredibly trustworthy and reliable. I highly recommend her!!!
Sarah is such an amazing therapist. She’s warm, kind, and makes you feel completely at ease, no matter what you’re going through. Her knowledge and expertise are incredible, and I’ve learned so much from her. She’s trauma-informed and really knows how to create a safe space to work through some of the most vulnerable feelings. I honestly don’t know where I’d be without her guidance and support!
I appreciated Sarah's compassionate, and open approach. She made me feel comfortable, welcomed and that I could speak about anything going on without any judgement.
Sarah was incredibly kind, supportive, and calming. She created an atmosphere that fostered sharing things that are normally difficult for me to bring up; with her it just felt comfortable. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs an exceptional therapist who can really help you work through your toughest moments.
My daughter was under Sarah's care for 13 months in an intensive outpatient program. Right from the 1st visit, Sarah was able to get through to her & establish a strong bond, a challenging task with an adolescent. Sarah's approach & mannerism was flexible, applying what was needed for the situation or topic (supportive but tough when she needed to to get a point across). She always made my daughter feel like she was heard, even when she didn't agree or want to hear Sarah's insights (as there were times where they didn't align with what she wanted). Finding a therapist is a difficult journey & Sarah's ability to establish trust so quickly is a testament to her ability and person. She genuinely cares about her patients & their families, and makes herself available when needed. Can't say enough great things about her. Highly recommend Sarah!
Sarah has a style instantly relatable for me and most importantly, my son. The trust she created was monumental and my boy felt comfortable talking about very uncomfortable things. There was a time I didn’t know how he would breakthrough his hard feelings but with Sarah, he learned tools and ways to communicate that get him through any hard feelings. Now I hear how he advocates for himself, asks for help when needed from his teachers and they are so impressed! Sarah is a true gem and I will be forever grateful for her working with my child and his successes past, present and his future!
After many years of on and off treatment, Sarah was the first therapist I've ever felt really comfortable with. I never once felt afraid of being judged during our sessions and she always made me feel heard but she was also able to help me recognize and work through my own negative behaviors. I feel like I improved so much during our time working together and I feel that she is a huge part of where I am in my progress today. I am so thankful for everything that I learned from her. Of course I still struggle sometimes but even months after stopping services, I still feel like I am becoming a better version of myself every day because she helped give me a safe space to learn how to love myself even on my bad days. Thank you, Sarah :)
