While working with clients, my goal is to empower clients to develop behaviors & habits that empower them to show up as their authentic self. My approach I take a trauma-centered approach, helping clients address the wounds beneath the surface while fostering resilience and self-compassion. With extensive experience in residential and intensive outpatient settings, she has worked with clients navigating eating disorders, trauma, and co-occurring addictions. My communication style Through various techniques, we will spend time breaking down negative core beliefs, creating internal confidence that allows clients to set boundaries and communicate their needs. Along with the development of strategies to combat negative patterns, clients will heal their wounds from past experiences and step into their authentic selves. My journey to mental healthcare After my own healing journey from an eating disorder and depression, I was shown that the powerful role therapy can play in recovery and solidified my commitment to supporting others through their healing journeys. I pursued a career in Mental health counseling to support others on their healing journey and break away from toxic behaviors that block them from accessing their best selves. With a deep curiosity about human resilience and the desire to help others find strength through life’s hardest challenges. I’m continually driven by the fundamental belief that everyone has the potential for positive growth and change. Seeing my clients gain confidence or find peace makes my work incredibly rewarding.
