Sarah Graham Payne, LPC

Psychotherapist
PA
My passion is working with individuals who are motivated to change and live a happier, more balanced life. I love working with diverse cultures, and my lived experiences have helped shape my understanding of others. I consider family dynamics and their impact on the individual and am willing to work with individuals, couples, or families to improve communication and conflict resolution strategies. Meeting the needs of my clients allows me to adapt my approach. Life transitions are difficult, and I am here to listen to your story and provide a safe space to create lasting change. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Marywood University and 19 years of experience in multiple settings treating anxiety, attentional issues, autism, and trauma in clients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. In addition to therapy, I have worked as a school counselor for 17 years and can help navigate concerns related to academics, social/emotional learning, and parenting. My areas of specialty include stress management and trauma-related disorders. As a mom of three, I enjoy helping other moms adjust to and improve their lives. Working with the uniqueness of each individual is important to me. I collaborate with my clients to develop a treatment plan that best suits their needs and helps them move forward positively in their lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The most important thing is for you to find someone you can feel safe with so you can do the work to create the life you desire. I am an intuitive person who will be honest with you. We will work together through the difficult times to keep you moving forward. There will be times when you are resistant to doing the work and I will be there to support you through it. I have been in this field a long time and nothing you say can surprise me so there is no need to hold back. It will be freeing to say what you need to say and be the person you want to be without judgement.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
