Getting to know Sarah Hendin

Hi! I'm Sarah and I am here to help guide others through life situations that are challenging to manage on our own. My specialties and experience includes maternal mental health, reproductive loss, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I utilize various person centered therapeutic approaches to help clients heal. I received my Master's in Counseling from Barry University and became a Board Certified National Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I went on to become a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional working with individuals who are pregnant, postpartum, experiencing anxiety/depression, and/or experiencing reproductive loss.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is person/client centered . As an eclectic therapist, I tend to use different therapeutic approaches in my practice to fit the needs for each client. These approaches include client/person centered, mindfulness, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and others. I am all about the client and will go where you need me to go therapeutically.
