Sarah Hepbron, LCSW

Psychotherapist
MD
Hi, I'm Sarah. So many of us go through life longing for someone to truly listen—someone who offers understanding without judgment. I’m honored to be that person for others. When people ask me, "What inspired you to become a therapist?" I’m always glad to share my story. My decision to pursue this path came during one of the most challenging periods of my life. These personal struggles, combined with my professional experiences, have shaped me into a therapist who deeply respects the courage it takes to seek help. I strive to "meet people where they are," helping them navigate the chapters of their lives that are hardest to face and empowering them to make transformative changes. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Baltimore in 2009. Before furthering my education, I spent time gaining invaluable hands-on experience. I worked with developmentally disabled children, supported individuals with severe mental illness and chronic homelessness, and discovered my true calling: helping those with co-occurring disorders (i.e.- addictions and mental health). In 2020, I completed my Master’s Degree in Social Work at the Catholic University of America. Soon after, I co-founded an addictions treatment facility for men. I decided to move back into a clinical role, as this is what I am truly passionate about. Some fun facts about me: I love spending time with my family, organizing things, and I am a lover of Owls. Let's connect and work together so you can reach your goals and become a better version of yourself.
