700 Old Roswell Lks Pkwy, Ste 130, Roswell, GA
I am a licensed therapist who offers trauma-informed, individualized care rooted in evidence-based practice and clinical attunement. My approach is eclectic and integrative, drawing from IFS, DBT, somatic modalities, parts work, and cognitive-behavioral interventions to support clients in healing and building sustainable internal resources. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, identity development, nervous system dysregulation, life transitions, trauma, and complex relational dynamics. My clinical style is collaborative, grounded, and direct—I aim to create a space where clients feel both challenged and deeply supported. I hold a strong commitment to cultural responsiveness, intersectionality, and the belief that therapy should adapt to the client—not the other way around. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities and strive to offer care that honors each person’s lived experience with nuance and respect. My role is to help you clarify, connect, and move forward at a pace that feels safe and empowering.

Getting to know Sarah Jordan

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect a collaborative, direct, and supportive space. I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach—our work will be tailored to your goals, your nervous system, and your lived experience. I integrate evidence-based and somatic modalities to support both insight and regulation. I tend to name patterns when I see them, hold space for nuance, and invite clients to build a deeper connection with themselves over time. You don’t need to come in with everything figured out—just a willingness to be curious. I believe therapy should feel both grounding and useful, and I welcome feedback along the way. This space is LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodivergent-inclusive, and culturally responsive. I strive to meet clients with care, clarity, and respect.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is collaborative, adaptive, and grounded in clinical intention. During our first few sessions, I focus on building rapport, understanding your goals, and gathering context around your experiences, patterns, and nervous system responses. From there, we co-create a treatment plan that reflects your needs, preferences, and capacity for change. I draw from a range of modalities to support both insight and regulation. Sessions may involve processing past experiences, identifying internal conflicts, practicing nervous system regulation, or building practical coping strategies. Throughout the process, I maintain a strong emphasis on consent, pacing, and cultural responsiveness. Therapy isn’t linear, and I welcome clients to show up authentically as they are, while we navigate the work with clarity, care, and mutual respect.
