Getting to know Sarah Jorge
I am a Professional Licensed Counselor in Louisiana with a Master's in Counseling from the University of San Diego. My goal is to provide a supportive and structured space where you can build resilience, gain insight, and develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges. I look forward to working with you on your journey toward growth and well-being.
My approach
My approach to therapy is grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused therapy. CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to help identify unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change.
My focus
I specialize in working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, stress/burnout, and relationship or family challenges.
My communication style
My goal is to make you feel seen and heard. I offer a welcoming, empathetic, gentle, and safe space. I pride myself on providing a judgment-free environment for all my clients.
My goals for you
My approach to goal setting is collaborative, structured, and client-centered. I work with clients to set realistic and achievable goals that align with their needs and desires.
My first session with you
During our first session, my priority is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. We'll start by discussing what brings you to therapy, exploring your concerns, background, and any specific challenges you are facing. I will also ask about your goals and what you hope to gain from therapy.
