Getting to know Sarah Katz

I provide psychotherapy to young adults and adults facing various mental health struggles and life stressors. I am passionate about working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and specialize in treating anxiety, mood disorders, trauma symptoms, and relationship and attachment issues. My approach focuses on creating an empathic and collaborative space to explore self-awareness, self-acceptance, and positive change. I hold a Master's in Social Welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles. I am certified in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Cognitive Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CT-SP), and trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and somatic work tailored to individual needs. I am currently accepting new clients and would love to chat with you about your preferred style, goals for therapy, and your unique story.
