“I absolutely love having Sarah as my therapist!! I feel 100% comfortable talking to her and always look forward to my sessions. For me it’s like getting to talk to a non-biased friend who can help me navigate issues in a nonjudgmental way, and helps me to feel empowered. I also appreciate her flexibility with scheduling and that I can do weekend appointments, which I personally prefer since I work Monday through Friday.”

Getting to know Sarah Mitchell

Hello. My name is Sarah. Do you ever feel like it's just not enough? The "it" could be any number of things. Your job, your relationships, your daily routines, etc.. Is it hard to find the good during the bad? I can help. Together, we can find what is holding you back and we can find the best way to navigate back to happiness. I feel you are the best one to know what you need and typically follow a person-centered approach. I also integrate mindfulness and help you change the way you perceive things through your thinking. I am here to help in a number of situations. Whether that be relationships, parenting, anger, anxiety, and so much more. I enjoy working with older children, young adults and couples. I believe everyone deserves a safe space to be themselves where they can evolve and grow into their best selves.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After your first session we will start looking for the why. So many times it is believed that what is making our lives hard is the presenting problem at that moment. Unfortunately, for most people there is an underlying reason. Let's find your why.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
