Psychotherapist
TX
Hi, I’m Sarah Napolitan, MS, LPC Associate. I love working with people who are used to holding everything together for everyone else, even when things feel overwhelming on the inside. Maybe you’re navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, low self-esteem, or experiences from your past that still affect you today. Maybe you’re questioning old beliefs, moving through a life transition, or trying to understand yourself a little better. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you don’t have to have everything figured out to get started. Together, we can explore patterns, build practical coping skills, and find ways of navigating life that feel more manageable and more aligned with who you are. I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on your needs, goals, and preferences. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can show up as you are, ask questions, work through difficult things at your own pace, and feel heard without judgment. You deserve support that meets you where you are, not another place where you feel like you have to get everything right.

What should a new client know about working with you?

What can I expect during our first session? Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore what you’ve been experiencing, what you hope to get out of therapy, and what support might be helpful. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet. What is your approach to therapy? My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs. I draw from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and humanistic and existential approaches. We’ll work together to find a balance between understanding your experiences and developing practical tools you can use in everyday life. Do you offer virtual appointments? Yes! I offer therapy through virtual appointments, allowing us to meet from a private, comfortable space. You’ll need a reliable internet connection and a private setting where you can speak freely. Do you accept insurance? I work with clients using the insurance plans accepted by my practice. Coverage and out-of-pocket costs depend on your specific plan, so I encourage you to verify your benefits before your first appointment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session is a space for you to show up as you are, without pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll talk about what’s been going on in your life, explore thoughts and feelings that may be coming up, and work together to identify patterns or challenges you’d like to change. Depending on your needs, we might explore a situation more deeply, practice coping skills, or brainstorm practical ways to navigate everyday stress. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to you, so we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable and focus on what matters most to you.
