Hi there, I'm Sarah! My name is Sarah Paullis and I am a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) located in southern New Hampshire, however I am working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with people of all ages and am specialized in anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, stress, and more. I use a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help my clients work towards and achieve their goals. My approach My therapeutic approach varies person to person based on each individual's needs. I strive to meet each client where they are at and use the approach that will be most supportive and effective. I generally use Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior therapy because both modalities strive to build a life worth living and can help clients manage the every day stressors. My focus I have spent the past 10 years working with adolescents/teenagers/young adults, ranging from 3-21, and their families. I am comfortable working one on one with people of all ages as well as providing family therapy and couples therapy for those wanting additional support navigating the dynamics of interpersonal relationships. I have ample experience with anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, relationship struggles, LGBTQIA+, family dynamics/stressors, stress, early adulthood transitions and stressors, and more. My communication style My communication style is calm, supportive, validating, compassionate, and accommodating. I strive to create an environment where my clients feel comfortable talking to me about anything and I strive to ensure my clients feel safe, welcome, comfortable, supported, and heard. My journey to mental healthcare I decided to become a therapist because I love helping and supporting the people around me. I have a passion for mental health and I love being a support through someone's personal journey.
