Sarah Rigali, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Sarah! I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. As a bicultural therapist, I am dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore challenges, build resilience, and develop practical skills for navigating life’s complexities. My approach My approach to therapy is collaboration. My clients’ voices, experiences, needs, and expectations are important for meaningful and lasting change. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, strength-based therapy, and mindfulness techniques, to support clients in achieving their goals. My focus I work with teens and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and interpersonal or family relationship difficulties. Clients may seek support for managing overwhelming emotions, improving focus and organization, healing from past experiences, or strengthening communication and connection with loved ones. I also provide parent coaching to help strengthen the parent/child relationship. My communication style I understand therapy can feel vulnerable, so my priority is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported and valued. I believe in working as a team, meeting you where you are, and empowering you to navigate challenges at your own pace. My approach is compassionate and tailored to your unique needs, fostering trust and openness. My journey to mental healthcare Growing up in a multicultural background, I witnessed how cultures—ethnic, racial, nationality, spirituality, gender, sexual orientation, and more—impact mental health and relationships. Therapy helps unpack these experiences and systems, enabling individuals to create meaningful change and improve relationships and wellbeing.
