What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is about understanding yourself, building skills, and creating lasting change. It’s a process, sometimes challenging, sometimes uncomfortable, but ultimately empowering. My goal is to help you move forward with greater clarity, balance, and confidence. I use a supportive, collaborative style; therapy is a team effort where we’ll set goals together and adjust as needed.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Overall, my process is collaborative, practical, and tailored to you. I bring structure and tools, you bring your honesty and goals. Together we work toward lasting change. Early sessions are focused on clarifying what you’d like to work on. We’ll break bigger goals into smaller, manageable steps. I use a balance of support, psychoeducation, and skill-building so you leave each session with insight and something usable in daily life. As therapy continues, we’ll shift focus from reducing immediate stress to building long-term skills and confidence. We’ll revisit goals, celebrate progress, and make sure changes are sticking outside of session. When you feel ready, we’ll work on planning for independence, with strategies you can carry forward long after therapy ends.
