Getting to know Sascha Smith

I have over 10 years of experience as a mental health therapist. I primarily work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and family or relationship difficulties. Many clients seek treatment because they feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or unsure how to manage the challenges they’re facing. My approach is structured and evidence-based. I focus on helping you understand the factors contributing to your symptoms and developing clear, practical strategies for change. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions to support emotional regulation, improve coping skills, and build healthier behavioral patterns. Accountability is an important part of the work we do together. I will support you, but I will also provide direct feedback and encourage consistent follow-through on the changes you identify as important. Progress requires active participation, and I work best with clients who are ready to take responsibility for implementing new skills and strategies between sessions. My Style is: Straightforward – Honest and clear, but always respectful. Practical – Tools that work in everyday life, not just theory. Explorative – Space to reflect deeply in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Encouraging – Support that helps you feel capable, validated, and motivated to change. Accountability-focused – Growth comes from owning your choices and committing to real change. This works well if you are willing to: • Look at your own patterns and find areas for growth and change • Practice new skills between our sessions and create a plan for change • Stay open to feedback, exploration, and trying approaches that fit your unique needs

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
