Getting to know Sasha A. Little
Welcome to my profile. My 21 years as an educator have prepared me to serve as a Professional Counselor. One of the reasons is the many years of working with and showing compassion for those with emotional and behavioral challenges. I have been able to transition my skills into counseling adults. I have a passion for helping people realize their possibilities, even when life says otherwise. My work addresses the whole person, not fragments. Additionally, I believe individuals learn to become more connected to themselves and their community by understanding their cognitive, emotional, and behavioral negative patterns. I can help people recognize the cognitive distortions that have contributed to them becoming "stuck." I am someone who is willing to go the long haul with my clients and instill unconditional positive regard toward their challenges. Finally, I provide support and a safe space for those taking the risk of the journey of self-exploration. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University, which has further equipped me to guide and support my clients effectively.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
