Getting to know Sasha Jackson

** (Please Note: I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not accept insurance. Thank you) ** Hi, I am Sasha Jackson, LCSW, with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I help BIPOC professional women shift from surviving to thriving in their career and life by ending burnout. I specialize in empowering women who need to learn how to manage stress, end toxic beliefs that limit success, and recover from unhealthy relationship patterns that impact all areas of their life. You can no longer afford to let your life stay the same. Let's ignite growth, empower, and redefine success in your life. Remember, you already have the skills to be successful in life. With my support and guidance, I will teach you how to tap into this innate knowledge. How is this done? I have been helping women over the past several years by applying three simple principles: Awareness, Alignment, and Action. Awareness helps you understand the beliefs that guide your actions. This is where we explore limiting beliefs, the impact of past trauma, and identify how negative experiences have shaped your current life. Alignment is syncing with your authenticity and personal beliefs. You truly know what you want and need to be happy. We will build your intuition so you can access your happiness, success, and overall wellness. Action is using your wisdom from awareness and alignment to actively participate in the creation of your life. Action is all about taking ownership and responsibility for your outcome. It is possible to change and reclaim your life. It is never too late to take control of your life. Book your session now! ** Please note that once you book your initial appointment, you will be contacted with further directions to create a patient profile. It is important to create a patient profile to confirm your appointment. **

What should a new client know about working with you?

I absolutely believe in empowering individuals to succeed in career goals, love, relationships, self-esteem, and overall mental wellness. I help my clients learn their barriers, uncover their personal goals, and create the momentum they need to reach the happiness they are seeking. My approach is mixed with the principles of psychology and the knowledge of the universal laws to help individuals tap into their personal power. I am excited to work with you in your journey to wellness, health, and happiness.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session will start with assessing and understanding your issues. After our assessing phase we will move into treatment planning. In treatment planning we will discuss your goals using a unique multi dimensional framework. After we complete treatment planning we will begin therapy sessions to help you achieve the goals we identified. After your goals are complete we will conclude with our sessions.

Honestly I was unsure if therapy was right for me. I felt that I had everything together, but despite being successful in my career I had to admit that my relationships and my self esteem was not where I wanted it to be. I found Sasha and after reading her profile and reviews I decided to give her a chance. I am so grateful that I did. She taught me that it is is okay to be vulnerable and strong. Most importantly that I get to dictate how I want to show up in my life day to day. I realized that my past held me back and I was ready to break away from my limiting beliefs. After completing therapy I have better boundaries and I able to communicate my needs better in relationships and even at my job. It was like a 2 for 1 special. I recommend Sasha if you are ready to overcome your fears.
I had my reservations about beginning therapy, but was willing to do almost anything, to get rid of my feelings of anxiety and overwhelm. Sasha made me feel very comfortable speaking to her during my initial assessment. She didn’t make me feel like anything was “wrong” with me for having those feelings. She created a clear action plan for the goals that I wanted to achieve, and held me accountable for achieving them. Within just a few months of working with Sasha, my feelings of worry and overwhelm virtually disappeared. I became better at communicating my needs, having empathy for others and giving myself grace. My husband also noticed the changes in me after starting therapy and actually wanted to send Sasha a gift! Sasha is like that friend who will tell you the honest truth with love — and she has the credentials to back it up! Thank you for helping me change my life Sasha!

Sasha has spent the last year helping my step daughter really work through her insecurities and some deep rooted issues that she has had. Sasha was very patient and exactly what my step daughter needed and was able to connect with her in ways that no other therapist has been able to before. She helped my step daughter learn to talk about her feelings and try to really access the tools within herself to have better communication tools with her parents. Sasha went at my step daughters pace and never pushed her too hard. I highly recommend her services.
