Sasha Nicolle, LMHC

Psychotherapist
FL
Hi there! I'm Sasha. I have over 13 years of counseling experience, 8 of those years as a licensed mental health counselor, providing support for adults of all ages. I received my Masters of Education in mental health counseling from the University of Miami and since have worked with individuals struggling through depression, anxiety, relational issues, PTSD, addiction, and loss of purpose and motivation. I believe strongly in everyone being the experts on themselves. I work in a collaborative way with clients, respecting their autonomy while we address their concerns together, helping them work towards their goals and aspirations. I love to see clients develop the kind of growth they aspire to and live more fulfilling and healthy lives. I lean towards a mind-body connection, addressing lifestyle and behavioral concerns as well as processing events that continue to negatively impact them, and addressing negative thinking patterns to see themselves and the world in a better light.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our first session, I want to get to know you! I'll help to guide the session with questions to understand more about what inspired you to seek counseling: what you've been struggling with recently, your history, and what you're looking to gain from working together. You can expect to be able to express yourself in a respectful, supportive, and safe environment, free of judgment. I'm here to help and I'll likely be enthusiastic and energetic about working together and helping you identify goals and aspirations that we can tackle together in our sessions.
