Savannah Rigert, LCSW

Psychotherapist
WI
Hi there, I'm Savannah! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Augsburg University. I am located in Hayward, WI, and see patients statewide via telehealth. I am hoping to add Minnesota to my roster very soon. My therapy focus areas are anxiety, depression, trauma, and children/families. My approach to therapy is that I am a guide who offers a helping hand while you discover where you want to be and helps you get there. My approach The therapeutic approach I use depends on your age, goals, preferences, and what we learn works best for you. My approach is eclectic, using psychodynamic, attachment, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. For children, I use play and sand tray therapy along with some of the above approaches, depending on age. I also provide parenting coaching and consulting. My focus I have worked with all ages, but my focus has been on children and young adults, ages 5–18, as well as working with their parents and seeing adults individually. My communication style As I stated earlier, I am here to help you get to where you want to be. To do that, my focus is on building a solid, trusting relationship and environment with you that is both nurturing and healthy. Using active listening, empathy, compassion, and acceptance, I believe we can build a relationship to achieve your goals. My goals for you When setting goals for your therapeutic journey, it will be a conversation between the two of us—what you need, want, and what the barriers are. I want to work with you to achieve your goals.
