Feeling STUCK? People come to therapy when they feel burdened, suffering, or are navigating life transitions that shock or baffle them. They seek help to learn to accept themselves or to make meaningful changes. Yet, old habits often get in the way of reaching goals, connecting with others, and enjoying life's richness. There is therapeutic magic in understanding and expressing the internal parts of ourselves that feel in conflict. Here, you'll learn ways to quiet the inner dialogue enough to feel free to listen and take action that promotes your well-being. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Simmons University and a Master's in Business Administration from Northeastern University. I currently conduct sessions in person and through video conference. Because every person is unique, I draw from a wide range of therapeutic methods to craft an individualized treatment approach. Regardless of the approach, clients experience a heartfelt sense of self-acceptance, self-trust, and meaningful real change. Therapy has its greatest impact when you feel TRUST and connection with your therapist. I have a warm, patient, interactive, and accepting style. Working primarily with adults, I am skilled at helping people with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and trauma. I also effectively support individuals advancing career and academic goals and facing related challenges.

What should a new client know about working with you?

How This Works: Schedule a date and time in ZocDoc for a 20 minute gratis consultation. Ten minutes before our meeting, I will send you a Zoom link so we can get to know one another. (Telephone conversations are fine too.) Based upon your experience interacting with me, you can decide whether you feel we are a good fit for one another. If we are, we can schedule your initial meeting.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first meeting we schedule will be a gratis introductory conversation so I can introduce myself and learn more about what brings you to treatment. You will have a chance to see what it is like to work with me, kick the tires, and assess whether I would be a good fit for you in achieving your life and therapeutic goals. Should you decide to schedule our first therapy session, we will compare calendars to find a time and date that is convenient for you. You will receive reminders about your upcoming meeting with me and a link to hold our telehealth session.
