You might look like you have it together—but inside there’s anxiety, overthinking, or relationship patterns that keep repeating. I’m Dr. Scott Menasco, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in attachment-based, trauma-informed therapy. I work with adults who want more than coping strategies—they want to understand what’s actually driving their reactions so real change can happen. Our work focuses on helping you regulate overwhelming emotions, trust your own experience, and communicate more clearly in relationships. Over time, clients develop stronger boundaries, greater self-confidence, and relationships that feel more stable and authentic. If you’re looking for therapy that goes deeper than surface-level advice, I’d be glad to help.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Most of my clients are looking for deeper, long-term change—not just short-term coping strategies.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

With new patients I start by making an assessment, developing goals for the therapy process. Once we do that, then in each session the client will bring whatever issue is most salient that they want support with. Typically I see my clients weekly.

Ongoing session: $200 for 50 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork

I can not work with MediCAL insurances. MediCAL clients would need to pay my out-of-pocket fee of 200$ If you are planning to use insurance, it needs to be verified prior to your first scheduled meeting.
