Scott Persinger, LCSW

Psychotherapist
TX
I'm very pleased you are reaching out for help. For some, taking the first step toward counseling can be the hardest. I am in my 35th year of practice in the San Antonio area and hold a Master's in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University. I am very open to whatever works best for you (as long as it does not harm you or others). I provide high-quality psychotherapy. Often, there are many twists and turns as one becomes psychologically and socially healthier. It is my goal with every client to demonstrate empathy, kindness, and the utmost care I am able to provide. I never judge others. We are free to live our lives as we please. It seems to me many of my skills developed partially due to chronic low vision and the problems that come with it. It is natural for me to perceive one's pain and distress, as I've dealt with my own. I appreciate you are considering me for the assistance you seek! It is a high honor and privilege to be invited into one's personal life to facilitate positive change.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
