What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and relational, person-centered, and strengths-based perspectives. I believe therapy is not about eliminating difficult thoughts or emotions, but about developing a healthier relationship with them while learning how to move toward the things that matter most to you. I place a strong emphasis on safety, trust, and authentic human connection in the therapeutic process. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand patterns in their emotions, relationships, and behaviors while helping them reconnect with their values and build greater psychological flexibility. I also have a particular interest in helping clients build a different relationship with anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and uncertainty. My style is warm, grounded, conversational, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.
