At some point, you may find yourself feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or grief, online therapy can be a place to slow down, reflect, and gain deeper insight into your experiences. In a nonjudgmental and supportive space, you can begin to develop tools that truly fit your life. I work with adults from all walks of life, including couples, LGBTQ+ individuals, seniors, young adults, and those navigating major life transitions. Whether you’re living with anxiety or depression, grieving a loss, carrying the weight of past trauma, or struggling with anger or self-esteem, you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we’ll create a path forward that honors your experiences and feels true to who you are. As a therapist, I take an integrative approach to treatment, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, person-centered therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and trauma-informed care. I provide services under the supervision of Doug Puchko, LPC, a senior licensed clinician at Makin Wellness. I believe that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all—you can’t always paint a picture with just one color. Sometimes, you need the entire pack of markers. By integrating different approaches, I’m able to meet you where you are and tailor therapy to your unique needs, strengths, and goals. At the heart of my work is a genuine desire to understand you and your experience. Together, we’ll explore patterns, thoughts, emotions, and past experiences that may be shaping your present, while also building practical skills to help you navigate daily life with greater awareness, balance, and confidence. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you move toward meaningful and lasting change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I think of therapy like driving a car — you are always in the driver’s seat, and I’m there more like a GPS navigation system. My role is to help guide and support you by pointing out things you may not have noticed, recognizing when it may be time to slow down and refuel, and helping explore new routes when the current path no longer feels effective. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I believe each client is the expert of their own life. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself while we work together toward meaningful growth and change. My clients have described me as welcoming, approachable, and thoughtful in my clinical approach. I value building genuine therapeutic relationships where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. At the same time, I also recognize the importance of gently challenging clients when needed, helping them explore difficult topics, recognize patterns, and move beyond barriers that may be keeping them stuck. I work with clients navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, and emotional well-being, while tailoring therapy to each person’s individual needs and goals. I strive to create a balance of compassion, honesty, and accountability so clients feel both supported and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach to therapy is integrative, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), while also incorporating elements of person-centered, trauma-informed, and emotionally focused approaches. I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and meaningful to each person’s unique experiences. Together, we will work to better understand patterns, emotions, relationships, and challenges while developing skills and strategies that can be applied in everyday life. An important part of my approach is helping clients understand how the work we do in therapy directly connects to their personal goals, current struggles, and real-life situations so that therapy feels relevant, empowering, and useful outside of session Therapy is your space and your process, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable for you. If you are ready to take the next step toward healing and personal growth, I am here to support you along the way.
